Whitehaven Petting Zoo, LLC started about 4 years ago with a tarantula, a guinea pig and a snake. Slowly we began to grow our animal family; it did indeed seem like we owned our own personal petting zoo. We never really planned on having so many animals. It was completely personal, something only family and friends would see. But our love and passion for animals is what really inspired it and made it what it is today.
Whitehaven is more than the traditional petting zoo. We now house a variety of animals and have plans for growing in the future. Just to name a few, we have bobcat, lemurs, skunk, raccoon, coatimundi, tortoises, snakes and much more. We are committed to the health and well-being of our animals. We love each of them and the variety they bring to our lives. We are so glad we get to share them with you.
