More Than Books--Invest in Your Community's Future at the Cornell Public Library

Our library is a place of endless possibilities for everyone in our area communities offering vital, free resources from story time to job seeker support. We offer space for book clubs, computer use, music on the lawn, in-house books and access to the MORE Libraries, and many other special events.

However, our space is so limited that we do not have enough room for many of the events to meet comfortably.  Our librarian goes to alternative locations for some activities.

Our charming library, which was built in 1928, needs to raise $500,000 for a 30’x50′ addition on the south side of the library to create a vibrant space for our kids’ area, a meeting room, and more space for books, DVDs, and our community members to gather.

Imagine with us a place where toddlers explore new worlds, teens find safe havens, and adults learn new job skills–all thanks to YOUR support! The library is books, but it is also a pathway to opportunity, bridging the digital divide, and fostering lifelong learning for our area communities.

If you are able to support YOUR library, please stop in or mail your donations to Northwestern Bank at 201 Main Street, Cornell, WI 54732.  Please make checks payable to Cornell Public Library, and write in “Library Building Fund” on the memo line.
